VEX 2013-2014
The VEX challenge for 2013-2014 is called Toss-Up. Scoring elements include buckyballs and large inflatable balls, and obstacles include a bump, hanging bars, and a low divider. Robots need to balance size, speed, and reach to score points in this fast paced match.
VEX IQ is a new competition we will be involved with, either as a supporting school or as a competing school. The pieces are more similar to LEGO pieces, and the competitions are cooperative rather than competitive. This year's inaugural challenge has buckeyballs, rings, hanging bar, and scoring boxes.
