Food is scarce on Mars. Luckily the Mars Reebop is able to survive the low oxygen and low atmospheric pressure conditions on Mars. By why are the Reebops all different from one another? The answer is in their genes.

Just like the Reebop, we are combination of alleles (versions of genes) from our mother and father. This unique combination of the over 30,000 different genetic traits makes us who we are; our eye color, height, number of fingers, if we have dimples, all of these traits are determined by our genes!
